[18.1.2008]   January 19, Baptism of the Lord Saint day of January 19, Baptism of the Lord, means cross procession with Great Blessing of Water outdoors.On Russian tradition this day the processions led by a Priest come to the lakes or rivers to bless the water, with votive diving in cross-shaped ice-holes. Russian people believe that with this sacred water we get absolution from sins and illnesses.
