We hope you would enjoy dishes of the Russian national cuisine while staying at the "Russian Village". Upon your request we can arrange a special diet (please, indicate it in your application form). Three regular meals a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner, feasts and parties, get-togethers, tea-breaks - all cooked and served in a traditional Russian style. |

Usually our teachers have meals along with the students. You will certainly feel the hospitality of one good family while seating at a big table with all the students and teachers. It is also a fascinating and very effective way to study Russian: recesses are filled with conversational study of new words and expressions. The very "at table" atmosphere and constant support of tutors inspire students to learn new vocabulary more effectively.

One can talk a lot about Russian cuisine but you'd better try it by yourself keeping in mind that the Russian national recipes are of great variety and you'll certainly find the dish to your taste. In our "Village" you will not only enjoy the most famous Russian dishes (pelmeni, bliny, borsch, ukha, kholodets, pirogi, etc.), but will get the opportunity to learn old recipes from our professional cooks. You will also have a chance to "travel" through the cuisines of the former USSR republics (Ukrainian, Georgian, Uzbek, etc.). |
