This includes skills for communicating in the most common everyday situations and enables you to master with confidence the lexical and grammatical material needed to express your intentions, as well as to understand Russian middle-speed speech. You will also have the opportunity to learn more business language as well as modern slang.

Intermediate level is aimed at those who have been learning Russian for a while, but whose mastery of the language is still rather weak: poor understanding and difficulty in speaking.

Our course includes:
1. Introductory classes to activate your passive knowledge.
2. Special focus on vocabulary. Concentration on words and phrases that are useful in conversations on various subjects. Our methods favour memorizing the material in semantic blocks. You will thus extend your vocabulary and develop your speaking skills.
3. Detailed grammar training. Basic rules and some areas of grammar, such as tense and aspect system, which a particular emphasis on cases and prepositions. Training on style and register e.g. learning whether certain structures are more typical of written or spoken Russian.

4. Watching famous Russian films with analysis of the actors' speech.
5. Lessons in specific areas: business language, telephone conversations, negotiations etc. |

Everyone can learn a language (we have all already learnt at least one!) but it takes time, patience and hard work. Learning Russian in the "Russian Village", being in a Russian environment, will enable you to speak this challenging language naturally and easily.
